HJ info

Hi all,

i have a XX7 HJ van which i'm restoring (over the next few years) .
model hj8wm70
body no 385856b
trim 1890 60A
paint 56815953

I know the basics paint and trim , but with the chamios trim , was that just the seats and headliner .
How do i find out what colour decals it came with , etc,
Any info on getting the old girl back to original would be fantastic.
She is not in the best condition , very rusty , twin headlight front end , no gts guards etc.

Hello. stripes. You can get these from Stickthis he is on the forum. Bucket seats dash and console would all be chamois you should be able to match paint. Someone will have the paint code on the forum. I am not really savvy with Hj as we have done three hz's and a hx.

Gday Bart. Welcome to the forums. This is by far your best place for info.

Give us a call if you would like to discuss stripes 0427110502. Being HJ. they either had black or white. I can help with what was recommended etc if needed.

With the trim. If you send me a txt. I can send you a couple of photos from the HJ parts manual showing what colours each part was.
