BF Goodrich, any good in the wet?

Hi there on this miserable day here in the Hunter.

I am after opinions/personal experience from those that have run BF Goodrich tyres as I am looking at getting a full set for the van.

Particularly opinions of these in the wet.

I would preferably like to get something with the white writing, so if there is another brand with white writing you can suggest I will also look at them.

These too have to be good in the wet as I will be using the van a fair bit this year.

    Thanks for the help.

That's a bit of a blow, they come in 15s only from what I can find. I have 14s on the van.

I'll keep looking M.T sites, might get lucky.

I had BFG Radial TA's back in the 80's on a HQ Tonner and they were terrible in the wet, aquaplaned really easy. I was hoping they had improved after all these years as I am looking at getting a set for the HJ.

There have been 3 distinct tread patterns that I remember on T/A's. The early's were small nubs and hopeless in the wet, the next style is what most us of a certain age remember and they too were dreadful in the wet. The third design was known as EURO T/A and these were pretty good in the wet. Last I looked all T/A/s now have the EURO tread pattern but have dropped the EURO name.

Google T/A tire/tyre tread patterns and also Google T/A tire/tyre reviews.

BF Goodrich were shocking back in the day.. So we're the Yokohama 352's. Shame 14 inch rims are a dying breed these days
