BF Goodrich were shocking back in the day.. So we're the Yokohama 352's. Shame 14 inch rims are a dying breed these days

I always remember them being slippery. The combo was always the soft and sticky Eagers on the front and TA's on the back- ok to have the back end a bit loose

Personally i wouldnt use American tyres i value my life lot more than a set of tyres
i always buy Yokahama,s made in Japan imho best tyres on the market and i have tried plenty of tyres in my time

I too have had a large range of tyres over the years ,
Yokohama's on the front T/A's on the rear..
But due to the lack of availability and price increase in 14's I bit the bullet & went t to 15's
And found the Mickey Thompson sportsman ST's very good in the wet even whith a bit of power
And a lot better value for money..

Both my vans have BFG T/A's on the rear. I have them on the front of the WB and about to be on the front on the HZ.
I'm running 225/60 x 14" on the front and 245/60 x 14" on the rear and have no issues in the wet.
Price wise, I think they were around $200.00 each and for the look and performance I'm more than happy.
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!

The third design was known as EURO T/A and these were pretty good in the wet. Last I looked all T/A/s now have the EURO tread pattern but have dropped the EURO name.

Google T/A tire/tyre tread patterns and also Google T/A tire/tyre reviews.

Thanks guys, that's good to know they improved over the years.

I always ran Bridgestone Steel Belted 60 which were superceded by Bridgestone Eagers... great all round tyres but the last time I bought a set was in 1999 and they were pretty scarce then.
