Might get one as a company car in 2018?

At the rate the charge network is going in around the world, 2018 could see plug in points at every workplace. Imagine world class performance with no fuel cost as the weekday company car driver...then a cheeky Sunday in the Sandman!

The 1 tonner now has Android Auto and Apple Carplay in it. Installed a Pioneer double din head unit today and it works mint. Absolutely wrapped in how good Android Auto works, it's pretty much instant response from each command.

Well it pissed down in Melbourne on Saturday night. Was wondering why i had a lap pool in the passenger door of the 1 tonner so looked closer and found a bit of a problem with the rubber strip seal. The window mechanism was hitting it and twisted it, creating a perfect gap for all the rain to pour in. Bugger!!

I'd say the door drain plugs also need cleaning - you will always get a bit of moisture past the seals but it should run straight out the drain holes I the bottom of the door.

Yes agreed Geopaj. I noted the water only ran out of the rear drain hole when i opened the door (our drive is sloped so the ute was sitting nose down). Will be cleaning the front holes out on the weekend. Cheers

Grabbed a new under bonnet insulation pad from Kingswood Country today. Got it fitted and even had a win with making the engine bay light fit the new pad. Its now LED

Well, I've been having great fun with my 1 Tonner for the last 6 months and its been a good tinker car while my van project remained stalled. Decided to put some sub woofers behind the seats so picked up 2 x Kicker 8" 400W units and an amp today. Should sound good in the ute cabin.
