    We just purchased this...Happy Days!!

Decided to look for a ute as a bit of a daily driver and ended up buying this neat unit. Drives good and 99% of the options work so i reckon its a good thing

Congratulations, that is one schmick looking tonner, interior looks immaculate. Best part is it's on a HQ chassis so you can legally put a 350 chev in it if you ever wanted more power than the 308. Enjoy driving it, reckon it will be great fun.

Thanks Absinth. I was going to ask about the possibilities of the HQ chassis. Apart from the 350 idea which is pretty good, is there any down side?

No downside really. HQ to WB were all pretty much the same chassis apart from RTS being added.

Back in the 80's in Brisbane a mate of mine hit a horse in his HZ sedan and bent the front chassis rails, we went to the local wreckers and got a set of rails off a HQ sedan and bolted them up and repainted the car while we were at it. The car ran out of rego during the rebuild so he had to get a roadworthy for it and present it to Qld transport for inspection.... It got re-registered as a HQ because of the chassis so out came the 202 and in went a 350..... all legal.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm getting very itchy now as I'm waiting to pick it up on Thursday arvo and can't stop thinking of things to tinker with. Got to keep telling myself to just drive it and enjoy....or maybe upgrade the stereo...
