    Found one!; one year on

An update of progress to date (albiet, very slow!)

There are a couple of redeeming features under the factory underseal especially the wheel arches it is good as the day is was built.
And it has never had any accident repair work.

The last photo shows the car that we call "Black Beauty" which was a donor van we found in a barn partially dismantled, but had been rust proofed from new.
We were very lucky to be able to unpick the required panels.

We'll put some more photos up as the body comes together. But winter will slow the progress.

That is not a restoration... you're building a car from scratch!

You have to be commended on your amazing dedication, engineering and patience. I can't wait to see more progress photos.

Only way to do it when a car has that much rust and it is actually easier to replace entire panels than weld in lots of patch panels. Fantastic job you are doing there, another Q saved....

This is a perfect example of how anything can be saved with a bit of perseverance and skill.
