I just had to get rego and needed to stop a leak in the steering pump on a vs V8 ute. I think the pumps are almost identical in HQ-WB. Anyways I've gone from a puddle under the car to no puddle at all and dry enough for rego. $13. Boom!

Wonder if it'll work for the steering box as well?
Mine has a slight leak out the big nut underneath.

Not likely. I just swapped my box for that reason. I put a new seal in it. No improvement. The sector shaft will be worn.
I tried the stop leak stuff.
