I don't know much about wheels and tyres but I was shown a couple great apps that may be of use to you. These apps for your iPhone or Andriod will help select wheel and tyre types to suit your needs so check them out and provide some feedback.

Wheel will provides offset and other data that TyreTool doesn't but try them and see if they are any good.

I have spoken to Ian Splat re getting new rims made and he needs offsets/rim sizes etc.
