    Advice: Windscreen surround fitment

It seems that not all windscreen trim was created equal. The parts I bought at All Holden Day don't fit as well as the ones that were on the van to start with.
The corners seem very untidy and there is quite a large gap between the top of the trim and the body.

Does anyone have some advice they can share about getting a good fit to the surrounds?
Maybe some good pictures of the trim fitment around the top corner and across the top?

I'd like to get the fitment sorted before the van is sprayed.

Any of the above would be greatly appreciated.

Phil unfortunately my experience was that no 2 trims are the same, i had 4 sets and i picked the ones that fitted best.

From memory van ones are different to sedan, which it looks like you have sedan ones.

This bit is the difference. Vans don't have that extra part.

Thanks for that! I think you've hit the nail on the head. Or the trim on the corner. :-)

According to the parts manuals the HQ's are all the same (which I will debate). I've owned HQ's with differing gutter rail mounting methods across the door and down the "A" pillar.
But one thing is for sure HX and HZ are different from HQ and HJ. Interesting that HZ Ute and Van are listed separately with different part numbers. HX also likely the same.

Gee I'm glad you're back Innuendo! I've missed this kind of accurate info a lot on recent topics.
