Yeah, he told me it was chamois and as we all know, there are a few different chamois tones. His panel beater/painter resprayed it after cutting out the small amount of rust it had, so he'd know. I'll get the paint code off the tag when I see him next.
This van was real close to being mine. It was on here for sale (or at least a link to the sale) about 6 months ago in Canberra or Queanbeyan and I was just about to grab it when I had a thought that I should ask Donna first (!?!? Brainfade!?). By the time I mentioned it to her it was sold.
The next day was our club run and Waynes brother was there. He told me Wayne had just bought a HQ van and I knew straight away that this was it.... anyway, he's a mate and I'm happy for him.
It's already a trophy winner too.... Best Unfinished at the South Coast nationals.
