Ah man I used to have a REDLINE. I was obsessed with my BMX. Had all the good bits. Tuffs at one stage and skinnys at another. Wish id never sold that bike!!!Still got some of the old magazines in the shed.

    Wish I had some photos.

Love the redline absinth , I also have a pk ripper which is about 2 years old , not old school , but still nice to ride , longer frame , better suited to us young kids at heart . Though i still love my mx 11

What a great thread to read through, its like walking down memory lane reading all the names! I had one of the first bmx brought into the country back in 1976 as my parent saw it in Eagles bike shop in Geelong and thought surley I couldnt kill it, as I had a fair reputation for destroying bikes in no time. The only thing I can remember about it that it was a stingray frame. It got modified and changed over the years with all the money from part time jobs feeding the habbit of the bmx craze. Great times indeed.

Memories for sure, although mine was metallic blue until it got parted out and sold off in bits by the end of 1982

    love that green machine!

i used to ride everywhere with a group of mates every chance we had. my family was never well off so rode a sportsworld special haha broke the headstem on the way to school one morning and the only replacement was pink!!! needless to say my uncool bike and i copped alot more shit after that. my mates rode redlines and diamondbacks and mongoose.

have been looking for a freestyle bike for awhile and finally purchased one.. bought a dyno detour... i was looking for a white skyway ta with white tuffs but i'm stoked with my purchase.. havent got any good photos i can share at the moment.

My dad won a Chromoly PK Ripper down at the local sports club one year. I had that bike for years, rode it for the first couple of years of my apprenticeship even.
