I think its more likely that someone's got a second hand glovebox lid than this one being a sandman. Had half headlining, no GTS dash or wheel. Also it is pre 76 model HJ, so no XU3, XX7 sandman vans were all 2200 when this was built (as were non sandman V8 vans).

I wouldn't be upset to be Coxxy, this is a nice car as a non sandman. These should be cherished too

No Kingswood van in HJ and tags are too early to be XU3.... It is a Holden panelvan with 253 and 4sp optioned. My girlfriends carpet layer father had exactly the same van in Brisbane in the early 80's... Absinth Yellow, tan interior with 253 and 4sp but his was a 3 seater with a bench seat.
4/75 HJ XX7 Sandman Panelvan ... Persian Sand currently restoring
7/76 HX Monaro 4dr 308 4sp... Absinth Yellow and rusty as hell.. SOLD
3/77 HX Sandman Panelvan ... Absinth Yellow and rusty as hell .. SOLD

Think of the numberplate or graphics names you could choose for the van. The song "Devil woman" just came into my head reading the thread, but the Iron Maiden possibilities are endless!
And then, just keeping in the time period theres Suzie Quattro - "Devils Gate"; or The Stones... I wouldn't be too worried about the 666 on the chassis number Coxxy! Plenty of guys (and gals) would be totally stoked to have 666 in their ID numbers somewhere, oh yes. Very cool indeed.
