You can use a WB shell but you'll never convince anyone it is a HX - far too different in many areas, some you'll never pick until someone points them out to you. Your best bet is a HX Kingswood van shell, failing that an early HZ Kingswood van. Is your HX a Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide build?

    Thumbs up

it is possible done it and seen it done many times. there are alot of little differances you'll pick up on the way but nothing impossable! got a grinder and a welder go nuts! If its not a genuine sandman id just pick the best shell you can find reguadless of model and go with that.

yeah it is a genuien sandman thats is why i would like to keep it the way it is. as it is at the moment it would cost me an arm and a leg to get it fixed it still runs and most of the shell is good but there are some spots that are very bad one spot is above the front windsreen i could put my fingers all the way through the pannel front floors need to be done and i gess i will find more when i start pulling it apart
