    HJ disguised as a HZ

I know I may upset some......but I have a XX7 HJ van but I prefer the look of the HZ, so I am thinking I will dress it up externally as a HZ!
It already has a twin headlight front so I'm half way there.
Running a 350 T400 so it's driveline is not stock anymore.
All the GTS gear it present and correct including the guards.
    Will post some photos soon.....

If you're talking an HJ van dressed to look like an HZ Sandman, then twin headlight front is 'correct' but the GTS guards are not 'correct'.

I think if you are going to dress a genuine HJ Sandman into a HZ then go for it. It is your car and you have every right to do so, just show us the photos.

Why don't you see any HX/HX vehicles with the HQ/HJ Stripes?
Just a quick example and I know they aren't correct size etc.

i think the HX HZ stripes look great, but when teamed up with GTS guards IMHO the package looks too busy ( the swap meet car look with bits of everything). Maybe consider deleting putting the side small "SANDMAN" logo on the guards or B pillar. Just my opinion.!

Perth based XX7 HJ van huh? do you know its history?

Yep.... They should never have dropped the GTS guards. Even with the HX/Z stripe they work, just with no Sandman sticker.
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!
