Whether it's a mistake on the plates or a rebody, if and when the time comes to sell you won't get 'sandman' money for it. You'll just get arguments like we've just seen.
If your looking to do a sandman resto, suggest you hold out for the right car. If you just want a sweet green van to cruise in, it sounds like your onto a winner. Green is nice.
TXT me photos of the id tags 0427110502. I can post them up for you. Also I will forward them onto Byron.

Welcome Daniel,
What is the build date on it and the gvw ,that will help out a little bit more?
I'm not familiar with Trans M22?
Hi Daniel, I got your email but didn't have time to reply so it's great you ended up posting here.
Gearbox is M20 not M22 so its a 4 speed manual
Engine is a 6cyl 202
Colour is Durham Beige
Is it a Sandman? No one can tell you unless you had a reputable person do a solid visual inspection of the car, there are some tell tale signs that wont be discussed here.
Do you have photos you could post up, or better email them to me at info@mysandman.com.au
Do you have sales or order documents from the dealer, because that could help too.
Cheers.
