    Courtesy Light Switch

Guys I have some courtesy light switches that I want to install in the A pillars of my van but I can not figure out what electrical connector to use to to connect the power. Obviously metal outer case earths on the van body to close the curcuit but what type of connecter is used/attached to the plunger of switch to cause the switch to earth out?Pic_1026_043.jpgPic_1026_042.jpg

Correct. The original one is just a small eyelet. That obviously clips over the cut in half black plastic rod end. The hole is big enough to slide over the knob onto the shaft of the split black rod. But not big enough that the knob falls out of the hole once is expanded.

Did I keep that PG? lol

Same switch. Or maybe the handbrake one has a shorter housing and shaft etc? I cant remember without checking.

door closed the switch is not earthed. the door pushes the shaft and eyelet away from the housing. When door is opened the spring pushed the eyelet to the housing earthing the wire.
