    Part Number

Hi guy's, I'm Rob. I am in need of some help. In 1978 I bought an HZ Kingswood panel van which I still own, I ordered it with nineteen production options and several accessories, one of which was a 'Bulkhead Screen', part number 9936429. Now, I don't remember what a bulkhead screen is, I really don't recall ever seeing one. Can anyone help?

It might have been a partition of some sort between the back and the back of the front seats??

    Bobs got it.
It was a protective screen that went between the seats and the rear of the van tray. There was a board and also a rod/rail etc. Bit of a kit.
Found it in a HX parts book. Let me know if you want a picture posted

Makes sense, wouldn't want all your tools in your lap ( or back of head ) if you jam on the brakes.

70's cargo barrier. It doesn't look very high though! only as high as the ute sides if that makes sense.

Thanks guy's. It's all come back to me now, it was made of timber with a tubular rail at the top. I had a look in my HX and HZ parts catalogue's yesterday but couldn't find that part number. Must have been having an old bloke moment. Thanks again. Rob.

Hi Rob, welcome to the forum. Its great to hear you still have your van from new. That's a lot of options to order, must have cost a packet in options alone. What shapes your van in now?

Would have been a pain back then. Too difficult to climb in and out of the back!!!
