The ones your thinking of are not original to the WB. I think they where an option? Or maybe factory on the Magnum ute?

They were optional on WB. I think about three people bought them.
The Magnum was just a bog stock 6 cylinder shit box that HDT converted.

Three types for WB. Painted, chrome, chrome with rubber strip. The rubber strip ones are different as they have a pressed recess that the rubber sits in. The painted ones might have been for the Sandman??

The only difference between hq-z is the weight I just found a pair of straight ones I've had stashed away, one must be q and the other z , they look the same but one weighs more this is the same with chassis also the q chassis is heavier.

Speaking of bumperettes has anyone seen/held the new ones popping up on ebay/Rares? If so what is the finish/weight/quality like? Looking at my original ones and while the chrome is still good they are a tad knocked about after 40 years and could do with replacing.
