My young bloke has signed a two year deal with the Rabbitohs. He's only 17 so he'll play some SG ball and hopefully debut in the 20's if he makes the grade.
Pretty exciting times for a young fella.

Congrats to him Gaz, big move for a young bloke, just tell him to keep away from those marathon movie nights.Haha. How will it work for your family, does he get billeted out or you got family in Sydney?
Good stuff mate. Why not the Broncs or Cowboys ?
Disclaimer: I am not an expert.
That's great news Gaz
Bet your young bloke is stoked about it .
Hope he is prepared for it ,They push the kids real hard as my young bloke found out 5yrs ago when he played SG Ball.

We've never really had any solid interest from a Qld club, only from NSW's clubs.

Unfortunately no relatives in NSW, he will be billeted.

I agree totally, the level of competition in NSW is very high.
Just keep an eye on the billet set up. My wife's cousin was picked for one of the Syney teams this year. The family was very strange. He hated it and pulled out. His father played was a first grade player/state of origin in the 80's
Hope it works out! Great opportunity for sure.
Wow, yeah I must admit I have my reservations.
Good stuff Gaz,
I'm a Rabbitoh so i'll keep an eye out for him.
Cheers
Another future QLD state of origin player. Central Queensland produces some quality footy players.
Really great new's, an incredible opportunity.Keen Rabbitoh's supporter's here also. My wife's nephew played for the bunnies a couple of year's back, then left to play in England for a while.
