    another easy resto with a heart of gold

    went to sydney yesterday to get this...








    308 with 4 bolt mains and 327 crank,so its a 332..750 double pumper,mallory electronic dissy,comp cams roller rockers with manley guides,large valve heads with double valve springs port matched and flowed,competition cams cam,balanced,blueprinted,jp high volume oil pump,high volume sump,top loader gearbox,hydraulic clutch,mr gasket shifter,large 10 bolt salisbury narrowed 4 wheel hq pattern discs with a9x booster and master...parked in 2000 beside the house where it got no sun for the last 10 years...ya gotta ask yourself WHY..???
    if i can unseize the clutch pedal and make the brakes work without to much stuffin aroun d i believe i shall enter her in toranafest next month...

    green gold orange and blue plastic flat bait....yes i had to pay $1650 for that and drive a 5 hour round trip and spend $50 on lpg...i think it was worth it but....:knockout:

    i brought one just like that about 2 years ago for $200. ite had a yellow needl dash and original radio - no motor and box. good guards / nosecone
    i keep a book on it until i got over $2000.. ended up making a bit over $2K

    was surprised at the interest in the diff drum to drum to replace all the 9" back to Standard + fuel tank.

    we have now removed its heart and will be using all the running gear in our race car replica..it never made toranafest last year but will this year in part there of..see this thread for more info...

    looks like it has a tacho dash as well..
    on a side note I rang about the axle spacer the other day
