HZ front spoiler from rare spares

Hey guys,

just seeing if anyone has had or used one of the repo front spoilers from rare spares, have you had any issues with them and just some kind of guide to cut the holes out of the nose cone for the holes on the spoiler to slot into.

The Rare Spares part GMH1015 is "spoiler front 2 piece (except original GTS) plastic".

Rare spares one i had is total crap. It fit but not very nicely.

The rares one I brought back in the late 90's fitted ok. it was plastic. little bit of filing to get some edges neat to the body but overall I was happy. (these didn't have the wrap around the corners). I still have another spare somewhere.

They then updated it to a fybreglass one I believe. I never tried this one.

I spoke with greg the other day. No doubt he will comment here also. But they have now updated it to a plastic one with wrap around the guard bit. I myself have not fitted one. I haven't seen one before. see they are advertised as non GTS. I should go buy one one day and put it on my genuine HZ GTS front for fitment. and compare it to my Genuine second hand original I have. (only have one side).

Maybe the one you have raz is the fybreglass one?

Last year I bought some doors of a guy. I also bought an unused one piece fibreglass front spoiler. Besides the obvious, what is the difference between one and two piece?
