    PCV Valve air breather filter

Have just noticed this item for sale on ebay. it looks like it is a filter that goes inside the air cleaner and plugs directly into the hose from the pcvv. 2 questions I guess. 1. is it necessary for proper running? and 2 would it be required by the vehicle inspection Nazis for rego [ in WA ]

i always suggest you try your luck. i've had an amazing run and never failed a first inspection. don't give them a reason to fail you.

    seat belts
    tyres
    bushes
    lights
    play in steering rack/box
    heater
    fan
    wiper and washer
no holes in seats (just put covers on)
    exhaust (absolutely no leaks anywhere)
check for fray in front brake hoses
oil leaks - just pressure wash till you think you've blown through the block (that will mean its clean enough)
they might want all locks to work (does your tailgate lock?)
front and rear indicator and brake light lenses not faded out
    charcoal canister hooked up?

    etc etc
