    WB stud pattern

    Did a quick search but didn't find anything so does anyone know if WBs have HQ to HZ stud pattern or are they commodore? Thanks

    I thought they were the same as HQ to HZ Mick

    I thought they were too but I know the brake callipers have a metric thread on the hose and don't just bolt on, so just wondered about the wheels too

    Yeah the WB has got good callipers from what i have been told

    WB is the same as HQ. Think the callipers being "better" might be an urban myth. There were a mixture of metric threads and imperial all through WB. Things like seat mounts and seat belts can be metric but most other stuff is not.

    I always thought that WBs had a 1" master cylinder. HQ-HZ had 15/16. Think that's the theory behind the calipers bein different (maybe better)
    We can restore cars back to original. But we can't restore originality.

    HZ and WB brakes are the same. All use the girlock alloy caliper. HZ ones being imperial. WB being metric.

    WB and HQ to HZ all used 7/16 UNF threads for the wheel studs/nuts.

    HX (some) & HZ Girlock callipers look very similar to WB, But WB have a banjo bolt for the brake hose fitting, where HX - HZ brake hose has a threaded end that screws into calliper.
