    Body removal

    Hi guys
I have hit a little bit of a hurdle removing the body from my chassis. I have a problem with the front outter bolts. I had cleaned up all the dirt and soaked the tops of the bolts with rust off however when loosening these bolts in particular i have torn the locating tabs and the threaded plate now rotates hence i cannot undo the bolts.
I have tried holding the plate with multi grips and it does stop it from rotating but the bolts seem to be seized.
    Any ideas please

Try cutting straight through the rubber mount and bolt with a recip saw or grinder. This would enable separation of the chassis from body which will then enable the remaining bolt sections to be removed easier.

Damien's idea would defiantly work. separate it then worry about it later. New bolts should be available from Rares. I sent them samples a few years back from memory.
