I agree, I like to use it for a quick look at what's been happening, or if there's a popular subject you can quickly see if there are more posts. I like it just the way it is.

Obviously the politicians got their way...

Can I please have a non-technical reason why the shoutbox was removed, as now it seems you have to start a thread just to make a single comment to anyone that might be online at the same time. Anyone else miss it?
