N66 is the option code for GTS rims, and the winch is different. GTS rims were standard fitment to most Sandmans (late HZ got alloy N67 also used on HZ SL/E and WB), and as such it is a telltale in identifying.

Unless your Sandman has been fittind with gas at some time and the winch was removed to fit the tank as in the case of my HX Sandman..... fortunately mine has 18V trim...

yeah unfortunatly it has been fitted with gas, is there any difficulty in fitting the winchs? and how hard is it to get complete centre consoles for a chamois interior?

True, but that goes without saying as it applies to most Sandman telltales!

if its had gas then they usually cut out the cross brace that the winch mounts on too..find any ute/van or 1 tonner and get that cross brace out of 1 of there chassis and weld back in otherwise you cant mount the winch..

Did that today Oz from the doner HJ ute...lol....guess what they can't use that ute in the smash up Derby now, they can't use HQ to WB vehicles as they have full chassis, so now we have pulled apart this ute, which is now just a body with 202 motor and 3spd gearbox....

Ben what's the VIN number on your panno I have 2 sisters recorded L369611 body no. 220818A and L396624 but no body no. yours might be in the middle

Yes pretty straight, another friend of ours who looked at it, he was a panel beater from way back, said what shame to wreck this ute in the Derby, but our door isnt though which is now on it, but I can now give the door to you as we got a better one from a swap meet yesterday (rather our panel beater did), it is a Def HJ I read the tags....

I will find out if they want to sell it, am guessing they will as they paid for it, and now we took all the parts and they can't use the body anymore, shame they missed reading that in the entry form conditions.
