Rare spares in Adelaide. I bought them online along with decals for the radiator, windscreen wiper motor.

Another update, after a long break not having time or funds to work on Ute. Got remotivated and went back into the shed to continue the restoration. Brake booster back in, wiper motor overhauled and back in, air conditioning with new heater core back in, new radiator overflow bottle back in. Motor and gearbox is ready to go so once all the ancillary stuff is in, the engine will go back in. I’m just overhauling the proportioning valve.

I,ve done some more work on the ute over the past months. All the wiring is back in front to back. Brake prop valve is rebuilt and back in. The tailgate internals are back in. The tail lights and side marker lights are back in. All the gauges have been cleaned, with new Perspex lenses. Aircon duct work back in the car.
After a couple of views of Absinths you tube video on facia repair, I plastic welded the broken lugs on and welded the radio hole back to suit original radio. The facia is now ready for painting.

Intermittent wiper control, not standard for a HJ sandman but it is HJ option, so nice addition

The new perspex lenses look great. Also agree with the intermittent wiper control. Got one in my tonner and it gets used a fair bit.

My Dad's Sandman came with intermittent wipers even though he didn't order it and I later got it from Byron that for whatever reason intermittent wipers came with 308 4 speed when ordered. May be that your ute should have it

I'll try to find Byron's post to see if it is across the board or just specific models
