What gearbox you running Damien, I don't recognise that by sight.

Blocker, do you want details of how i rearranged the engine rebuild stand to become the engine start up stand?

    Hi Sandaro

Its a reconditioned Turbo 400. It came with the van so i figured i would stick with it for the time being.

    Cheers

140- 150 is fine. And 12 months without starting is no big deal, just wind the engine over until you get some oil circulating before you give it spark. If it lights up in the 1st few revolutions you may have trouble due to lack of oil on cylinder walls, cam and crank bearings etc...

It won't hurt to pull each spark plug out and give it a squirt of oil either.
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!
