Jason, my sandman van is 1950kg, 12/77.

Yep that's right. it was 1978 at some stage that the change to 2000kg happened. I don't know a date.

Mine is 1/78 and 2000kg. I'm pretty sure I have the exact build date somewhere. Will try to find it.

Edit- actually, I think it might be the sale date that I have, not build.

I would LOVE to know this also! Being possibly non original body though... Chances of it being the XX7 placard are slim.

I ended up buying this van a few months ago and the 90's have a lot to explain (roof rack holes and rear full head liner holes welded up , sunroof put in, changed to an auto, wb statements front and rear lights and 14 by 10 rims all round) body tags match and engine was built one month before. starting to put apart to restore now.
