HJ Sandman painted or pollished trims?

Hi,

Looking at most sales brochures the HJ sandman had painted tail light surrounds but polished door handles and windscreen trim. I have seen many with polished stainless everything or painted everything. So what was the standard and what was optional??

Hi Raz, on HJ sandman- Stainless door handles and windscreen surrounds on all (sandman Kingwood ute also had stainless around side window opening) . Body colour tail light surrounds on all vans and base utes, sandman Kingswood ute had chrome tail light surrounds.

So the sandman van had painted tail light trim but the sandman ute had chrome? Did i read that rite?

And the door handles are chrome plated, not stainless.
