    HJ Van

    Hi All
    I'm selling a HJ Van
Compliance plates are HJ L31, M21, Persian Sands, 3 seater. Currently 253 , trimatic and has a HQ chassis.
Has been stored for the last 10 years (prior to me buying it) and needs the brakes done and a serious tune up.
Has GTS dash, guards, statesman front (with caprice top/bottom grille) and full headlining, bucket seats.

I'll put more pic's up over the next few days.

I paid $5500 and I'd really like to get that for it.

Even though it has a full headlining it doesn't have the factory teeth to secure the hood lining at the rear.

    Car is in Mackay NQ.
Please understand that this car has been in storage for many years and will need to be taken away on car trailer or truck.

GTS steering wheel is no longer fitted. standard steering wheel only.

So it was Persian Sand originally and has been resprayed White.
You should have no trouble getting the money you are asking, if I were a couple of thousand kms closer to you I'd probably already own it!

    Good luck, should sell quick.
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!

If I didn't already have 2x HQ van's in Yeppoon I would definitely grab it. My mates old man had one the same when we were kids, his was sandman though. Still remember doing donuts on the beach with it when we were 16 or so.

Lots of things there that I'd like! Freight costs would be prohibitive though.

Anyone know what it would cost to get the whole van delivered? Is it a cost per km, or does it vary a lot?

somewhere around $1400-$1800 approx. Most carriers have an online quick quote system. Try Ceva carrying or others on goggle.

Outer Melbourne to Toowoomba - $900 two years ago with Dependable Car Carriers. I then took a car trailer to Tbar.
