    Brake proportion valve

    Can any body guide me where i could buy a brand new BPV with the plastic switch for a 6 cylinder HX holden tried the net but nothing is coming up
    i know you can get them rebuilt with kits but my mate wants a brand new one
    any help would be great thanks

    cannot. i don't think you can buy new boosters either. only rebuilt

    Yep true. You might fluke the odd one on ebay, even so its a bit of a consideration as to why the seller has it, how its been stored etc. Rebuild might be better in some cases. Decent brake shop shouldnt cost that much to do it in any case.

    They make so many different ones you can buy off the net but a Holden one nooooooooooo

    Got an exchange unit from Perth Brake Parts for $160 oh well thats the price you pay if you want to stop these old jiggers

    Question - does the HX and HZ use the same BPV with the plastic switch ???

    Yes. But disc rear Prop valves are different.

    Early Hx-Hj run a single wire switch & later Hx-Hz run a twin wire switch.
    Disc brake rear ends run the same valve with no restricter in them
