I looked at the size and still asked the question
lot on my mind atm
Your issue is NOT the tyre size but the incorrect wheel offset/backspace. These are the issues you run into with off the shelf wheels that are not designed for any specific vehicle but a cheap generic compromise. Skinny little 15x8's with 255/60/r15's should fit with inches to spare even riding low. So you either go a skinnier tyre, change the wheel offset or shorten the diff housing/axles to suit.
As Innuendo says, they should fit easily if the backspace is right. I have 14x8 and 245/60 TA's and 2" lowering blocks and my tyres are well up inside the guards on the rear.
I am assuming you are talking about the rear because if you have 15x8 and 255/60 on the front then you need a narrower tyre! (or flared guards!)
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!
Bud I run 255/60s made by Maxxis on 15inch alloy SS Cragers. My van has lowering blocks under it and I have no issues.
Cheers
