RIP Chris..... Sandman owner

Hi all,

we are currently in Echuca and visited the Holden Museum yesterday. While chatting to the owner I was saddened to find out that Chris was killed four months ago in a workplace accident. Some will know Chris as the forum member Canon on Fastlane, he is the owner of the blue HZ Sandman panelvan in the museum and was the owner of the light blue HZ Sandman ute (sold for $42,500).

The owner told me that Chris's Sandman panelvan was his hearse at his funeral... Very befitting I thought.

Sad to hear. Chris I think also once owned that mint HJ GTS coupe in Chamois/Chamois? That HZ ute of his would be close to a record set for a Sandman sale too?

That's sad. Unusual to hear of people dying in workplace accidents these days. Thank god.

chris also owned quite a few other cars including a HT GTS 350, 308 GTS HQ coupe in orchid, HQ 6cyl sandman van, HJ GTS 308 T400 sable silver coupe and a few other car. he had sold most of them off, keeping a few. very good guy, and we don't see many guys like this around anymore

RIP to Chris. Very sad. Discussed many things back in the day when I used to use fastlane. Also the previous owner of the best sandman ute ive even seen.
