A few blokes have them and in my opinion they look great on vans, tucked up inside the guards. They'd look perfect on your ute.
Haven't heard anything negative with regard to quality.
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!
hey guys, im also looking at these larger sized gts style wheels, the ones ive been eyeing off come from showwheels melbourne / ebay they come in sizes 17x8/9 and 18x8. i was wondering if there are any mods required to fit wheels and tyres of this size under a standard (slightly lowered) van ?
also what is the widest rim i should go with in order to avoid scrubbing is it possible to get say a 245 tyre at the back and 225 at the front? with this size rim?
any help would be appreciated
I want a set too. I run 225 and 245 x 14" on my WB and it's lowered 2" with no scrubbing, but it will depend on wheel offset. We need to find out about these and what offsets they have..... I'd love a set of 17x8 on the front and 17x9 on the rear.
They are in my opinion the best looking upsized wheel for a HQ-WB Holden.
Where can you get them? How much are they? What fits without guard mods?

Seen a van last weekend at Bunnings of all places had a chat with the owner he was running 20/9 on the back and 20/8 on the front they were show wheels tucked under the guards real nice and he said no rubbing at all he was running 235s all round
Canterbury wheel & tyre have the replica in 17"s. The show wheels ones are called US bandits and not an exact replica. Can get on ebay or their website
I believe Show Wheels just went belly up so don't throw any money at them.
dont go to canterbury wheels tyres they will rip you off
Not just hard to deal with, impossible from my dealings with them when I recently went to buy a set.
So bad I ended up getting my original wheels re-rolled and refurbed (got pineappled over those as it turned out too but that is a long story) and now in the process of organising tyres and redwalling them.
Nunc est bibendum...
