    advice please

    After some advice please, looking at buying a rotisserie for my van restore any advice on what to buy or which not to buy would be greatly appreciated any idea on prices? Cheers

    Sorry, I have no real information about rotisseries that dosen't include a chook! I would be interested in what people on here recommend, as I have wanted to use one but not game to build one myself. I have seen some on e-bay that look a bit flimsy, so not sure about them. Theres quite often a guy at the all holden day at Clarenden with one set up, not sure what brand it is, maybe worth chasing up. Sorry not more helpful, but if someone has some info, i'll be interested too

    Have a crack and build one. If you arent game to weld up a rotisserie you should not be attempting to weld a car on one. It may take a couple of weekends but with casters and material it will cost you about $350-400 dollars, not to mention a rewarding feeling when you have your van or ute spinning around on one!

    Buy one from gumtree some has used once
    easy fix

    buy two engine stands. cut the upright post and make it taller. throw the wheels away and get some good ones or with mine I didn't intend on moving it once the car was on it so I dyna bolted the bases to the floor. if your using the wheels you'll need a bar between the two to stop it spreading and widen the base so it doesn't fall over.
