Mad max at Blacktown drive in

I wondered if anyone would like to join us and Gaddy at Blacktown drive-in in Sydney on Saturday 16th May to watch MadMax 4. The movie starts at 8.45pm and there is accomodation right next to the complex called the Atura. I put an event On facebook! but for those who don't use Facebook , I thought I would invite here. We are taking the yellow van, I suggest you book and pay early to avoid disappointment as I think this could be popular.

Very cool, but busy that weekend. I saw the Terminator and Goonies at that Drive-in in the 80's in a WB van.

What a great idea, wish we had a bit more notice but I'm going to mention it to Donna and see what we can do.

I saw the 1st Mad Max at Bass Hill drive-in when it was released (in my van), so this would be a bit of deja-vu!

What are the booking details?

Just google Blacktown drive in and the Atura. Make sure you ring the Atura as on line they say they are booked out. You buy tickets through them as a deal with breaky I think.

Blacktown Drive in, wow. Glad to see it's still surviving, was one of many drive in's I used to haunt in the 70's. We were last there in the 90's when they used to have "family night's", and we took our daughter's to see "Flubber". No accommodation nearby then, only cow paddock's.

Yep, we recently held a wake there. It hasn't changed (all that) much in 30 years, just a few shades and seating out the back.

With the NSW Muscle Car Association in attendance, with it's cruise for cancer, there will be some very nice vehicles at the drive in. It will be a great night, reminiscent of the 70's.
