    Good HZ donor sedan

    $2000 in Ferntree Gully VIC.

Would probably have some nice panels and rust repair sections by the looks, quarters are probably rusty from a leaky boot seal. Should have some useable 60V interior.

It is an 8-9/77 car too so will have any bits unique to 1977 HZ.

Would be a bargain if doors and front panels are good.

Hainzy - this is your van's original TRIM line.

It is the best type of car to wreck, rust buckets are useless as most good bits are buggered including even nuts, bolts, clips etc. Cars like this are the best ones to get and worth paying $2k for and there will normally be enough good bits left to onsell to get you back to the purchase cost of the rust bucket.

It could be $1000 to dear Gene, but if the doors, guards and bonnet are good that is $1000 straight up in value. Good back doors will return $250-300 each. Just a decent pair of front seat frames are hard to find, and by the looks of that interior if you wanted half decent trim for an everyday driver it all looks pretty useable. The car would also provide just about every nut, bolt, clip, hinge plus probably a good body harness for a Sandman rebuild. It also has a 6cyl 3 row radiator - perfect for a Chev conversion.
