Never thought i would see a Commodore getting trashed on US streets in riots.

America is getting more and more screwed up every day...expect to see more of this sort of stuff happening
I've stood in Boston in 2008 watching a race based stand off on the streets that escalated from a simple police arrest and i filmed a fair portion of it....including the brawls. Nothing too sinister in the footage, but i was acutely aware of the angst between cultures. It was similar to remote towns in Australia and being America, has the potential to develop into something much worse based on the availability of guns etc.
Unfortunately the rest of the world will follow suit. We'll see more of this stuff here in the not-too-distant future I fear.
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!
Seem to riot at every opportunity available. I pity the people that have their shop's or property destroyed that have no involvement. Similar to the riot in Cronulla, people street's away had their car's wrecked or were bashed senseless and had nothing to do with it.
"Proud To Be An Old Fart".
The export (US police) Commodore being trashed is (was) a pretty capable vehicle. I wonder if its attacker(s) realised it would have been monitoring them!
Still, even if they did I am sure they wern't concerned at the time.
If I had kids, friends or family at immediate risk of being indiscriminately shot by police in the name of law enforcement I cant imagine how angry (and scared) I might feel.
Boring paint work on that cop car though compared to the V8 supercar style racing stripes on the Commodores (and Falcons) the AFP get around in here though. (They've even got a XR6 ute with the big alloy roll bars!)
