HX Sandman ute in fantastic colour combo

This may be a Sandman in disguise, i'm 99% confident.

Lovely trim line too - Royal Plum metallic with chamois/black trim

It is a HZ dash. It is the metallic paint on an Elizabeth HX Holden ute that says it should be a Sandman. If it was an L31 M41 i'd have kept quiet and went after it myself, but i'm not interested in a 4.2. Still would have been a very nice looking car when new.

My opinion $5k. To me semi-restored it is a $25k car and would cost every bit of $20k to get it right doing it yourself, and that would be as a non-original build.

Nope, but one day an L31 M41 Sandman ute may come along that appeals to me and i'll buy it. But the right combo may never appear.

2200kg is fine for Sandman, are you certain it is a 3 seater? If it is it is I think the first metallic HX Holden ute or van I've yet recorded that isn't a Sandman outside of Acacia Ridge built examples.
