Been a lot of horrible things in the news recently. I know some of my workmates have dealt with some ugly shit recently. Particularly my mate who was at a job where a four year old was killed with garden shears. Some despicable people out there with some serious issues. Hope this guy feels the full weight of the justice system. Other prisoners certainly wont make life easy for him....

This case is yet another example why we should have capital punishment, but oh no , we are a civilised country and we can't have that !! I for one have had a gutful of the do-gooders and tree huggers and I say this country is a least a semi-democracy so why won't the government have a referendum on capital punishment?? They might not like the result. That low life dog wouldn't even tell the police where he dumped the body, any disagree with torture in this instance? Thought not. As for punishment if we can't have the death penalty - I say when he's found guilty the judge should transport him to the Main Street of Leeton and set him free. Imagine that - your penalty is your free- he'd be begging for jail !!

I still cant condone that an eye-for-an-eye and state murder is justified in a christian country. We need to be better than that. We glance horrified at the videos of executions in the middle east enacting Biblical time punishments especially in Saudi Arabia removing a woman's head on a road crossing after dragging her through the streets. This is the result of their state based executions. I cant see there is anyway to kill someone humanely.

Lock them up in a stainless steel box in Goulburn super-max.

Steph was a good friend of both our kids at uni
Natalie drove from Cobar to the yellow park thing in Leeton yesterday and was amazed buy stephanie parents ability to worship their daughter's life and had a good chat to her mother

I'm really sorry for your loss of a young friend Rod, Jennie and family. A terrible terrible waste of an obviously valuable member of society. Condolences to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
