Thread: Looking for Sandman decals in ordinary condition.

Looking for Sandman decals in ordinary condition.

    Hi everyone,

I am after a set of Sandman decals, and yes in ordinary condition and so hope to get them for a good price.

By that I mean, faded, crumpled, stained from storage, even production seconds faded out or something, etc ...you get the drift.

I have a great set from Jason, but I am saving these for the re-spray in times to come.

In the mean time I am after, and I think I have the following correct and let me know otherwise:

    DY1 HX/HZ (Brown)
    DX5 HX (Purple)
    DY6 HZ (Purple).

The condition of the decals I am looking for will blend in well with the current condition of the vehicle. Yes, it needs a paint job.

    Thanks
    J.

Maysik. Sorry I only just seen this post.

We do have some HX DX5 seconds. They are a good set. Just one of the colours isn't quite the right shade.

    Cheers

I never get sick of seeing this photo mate. Love the old weathered stripes! Goes to show screen printing is the best way. Yes these are faded. But. They are still there. Digital with this sort of weathering will not be there like this still !

Awsome! I'm doing a similar thing with my HJ ute, retaining and/or enhancing the patina.

    Hainzy, that's PERFECT!
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!
