Anyone near Fyshwick ACT on Saturday or Sunday?
Pickles have a heap of HK-HZ off an old farm for sale.
If anyone gets there i'd love to see the VIN and BODY plates off the 8/74 Dandenong HJ.

Wow, some wild looking cars there. Still amazes me that lots like that still turn up. Shame looks like they were all stored in the " big blue shed" also didn't see one v8 in there. Did all the Val's and fords also come from the same farm?
It was a wrecker who hadn't paid his land rates in 15 years. I think a few of the Fords have come from a separate property.
I'll try to remember to get a pic of the HJ plates if I get a chance to swing by.
If you do grab the HQ utes too if you can.
The HJ was a 4.2L auto too, so possibly a Kingswood as well. But my best guess is the VIN will be 8M80REJ451402 which is a HJ Holden ute, L32 M40 GU7.

Unusual to see majority of utes auto?
202 auto was probably the most common driveline by HX/Z, but M15 3spd was the most common in HQ by far. There were still plenty of auto HQ ones made though, normally people who needed to reverse a trailer or reverse on building sites.
Watched the end of this today, late model charger made over 15k, what was left of an XA coupe over 7500, pretty good dollars too for a few other miscellaneous Valiants, Holdens and Fords. Pretty amazing when just about everything there needed a full resto. I called in fifteen minutes before the viewing finished yesterday so only got a chance for a quick squiz but most had been sitting for a long time.
