    HZ Van Cab chassis Rusty

If any one is after a HZ Panelvan cab chassis as a project, Big project. I have a one to sell. Rolling Cab chassis, It has a very rusty body. It is not Sandman plated but is a 8WM70, 253 V8, Trimatic, 308 diff plated van with weight 2200 and complied 3 seater, Palais White. I picked it up manly for the 308 diff.
My son want his yard clean up ASAP so before I start the cut up it is for sale. I have to sell the lot or cut what part panels could still be used, and decide to sell off the diff, steering and then off to the scrap yard
It has been totally stripped out, only having steering complete with key, headlining and air ducting. Tan in colour.
Not asking much but only what I could get for the 308 diff and steering. Van is at Kurri Kurri NSW.
I’m not that computer savvy on how to place pictures but if anyone is serious & wants this panelvan please send private message.

PS Can help with delivery in the hunter region

Can you PM me the van's ID details, it may fill a gap in the database. Especially if it is a Dandenong or Pagewood assembled HZ van.

It is a later example, late '78 or '79. But ID plate details and even original engine number if you have it off old rego papers will help as there are no HZ records past 6/78, so every car helps!

Tonners too, they all help. I even record sedans, coupes, wagons etc if they fill a gap.

Hey Byron, was there a difference in the ADR requirements between the commercial and passenger vehicles uin the HX? On oldholden.com someone put the tags of his HX GTS and the Chassis number was 3500 less than my ute. His car had BHX in the chassis number but my ute is AHX I would have thought thatthey should be the same prefix. Both are Adelaide built cars.

Commercials stayed as AHX, passenger went to BHX in 1/77. I can't remember which ADR changed for passenger vehicles. Maybe ADR 29 and 31. 29 is intrusion bars. 31 is brakes, specifically I think the warning lamps changed.

The change was for intrusion bars on passenger vehicles
