Hi all, I brought a 6/76 HJ panelvan about 10-12 years ago that was last registered in 1986. It had been sitting under a house since then before I got my hands on it. I've had it in storage ever since and never really thought it could be a Sandman until recently. I've talked to a few different people who have Samdmans and there sure it is but I'd like you fellas to have a look.

The tags say YES! So long as the body says yes then you have a Sandman.

COOL! Yes the bodies all Sandman as far as I know, all GTS with blackouts. Full hood lining, tyre placard in glovebox.

Not sure mate but I'll have a look tomorrow & post it. Whats the deal with the placard anyway? Only reason I put that up is because a bloke I was talking to about it being real asked did it have it in the glovebox

The "76" Build year XX7 Sandmans had a unique tyre placard. Which yours should. Im interested to know if its the correct one is all. These cars are very old now so not unusual for them to have had a change at some stage.

Oh mate, you've GOT to restore it so when I win Lotto I can give you way too much money for it!

I'm not jealous of anyone's vans, I'm happy for everyone that has either bought one or put a lot of effort into building one, BUT I'm certainly envious of what you have.
