It's a nice looking ute I would get rid of the colour coded bumper and flat tarp and go back to original and drive it I to struggling to believe a tarp was a option I cannot remember one without a tarp I reckon the old tarp looks good each to there own

Hmm, interesting about the tonneau. I bought a HX ute many years ago that was in original paint, it had side rails fitted as it was a plumbers car but had never had tonneau clips fitted... I know because I stripped the car to repaint it and there were no welded up holes and it was definitely original paint... The quarters were a bitch to get straight though due to ropes pulling on the rails and mount brackets and warping the panels.
