another Hz sandman (replica) in the family

My father has been working on this Hz pano for a while now... He has an infra red HQ ss and I guess decided he had enough paint left over to paint the van.. A lot of people (including mum) think the red is to much on the van. And he is now 2nd guessing his. Colour choice.... Not sure what sandman sticker choice would suit the red. Thought I'd throw it out there for some feed back. I think it will look much better with some blackouts and assembled but your thoughts???
And FYI it's a factory jasmine yellow v8. And he is doing a sandman replica.

Red is good. It just looks bad now cause there's no chrome or windscreen and those wheels aren't doing it any favours. Orange red yellow I think we're the stripes for Flamenco Red which is about the closest HZ red.

Yep blackouts would finish it off well. It would make it really stand out. Oh and rims to.

Can't agree more with everyone else.... Blackouts will calm it down and the Red stripes (DY3) will look great. A nice set of GTS wheels or polished mags will complete the picture.

The colour looks good...... red vans are fast!
