    VE/VF AMCAT Panel Van Conversion Canopy S/H

    At $2000.00 this would suit somebody who wants to make a Van out of there VE/VF Ute.

    Seems fair. But you would need to factor in paint (if your a different colour) freight and Sikaflex etc.
    If your a do it yourself kind of person you could save heaps. To pay somebody else it is likely better value just to drop your car of at AMCAT.

    Yeah that was why I posted it after chasing up the price link for another forum user.

    What you have to consider is that for just under $6K you can have it new from AMCAT.

    That includes:

    Supply
    Fitting
    Paint to Colour
    Carpeted Panels
    Tailgate Mods
    3 Years Warranty

    Buy it secondhand and add up what you would spend having "others" do the work I think you run close after paint, fitting and buying bits and pieces and you have no warranty.

    Like I said, plenty of money to be saved if you can tackle the job yourself. If not; you have to weight things up carefully!
