Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!
Looking good. What paint did you use on the wishbones? I did mine the same way (almost identical masking tape) I painted mine up before getting the bearings pressed in, but the shop scratched the paint up a bit (which I expected) so I masked up exactly the same way for the touch up. Nice looking work.
I painted the chassis and front end parts with holdens tuxedo black. 2 PAC of course. It's the same black I will use for the black outs so I brought extra. It a nice gloss black I have used on cars before.
Neat!
Got a whole side bare metalled. I'll hopefully etch the whole body this weekend... If I keep on the sander. I've got a big acid tank at work the nose cone, guards, tailgates and doors should all fit in.

UPDATE: the 308 is painted. Inlet and timing cover were sandblasted and painted with clear coat... This makes cleaning a breeze. The drivers side rocker cover is beaten up so I'm looking for a better one. I'm holding off on the body work until the weather warms up a bit. Fresh set of extractors. New dizzy.
