    Grille time again

I've been looking through the various posts after searching for "grille" or "grill" and haven't found an HX Sandman grille. I've seen some pictures that look like HZ grilles on HX models. Is it hard to get an HX Sandman grille? I have what I think is an HX Kingswood and an HZ Kingswood grille. Oddly enough the HZ grille is black plastic painted silver.
So should I stick with the HX grille as it's going on an HX? Can you even get old HX Sandman grilles now?

Those are HZ top and HX bottom. Sandman are black as per GTS.

The HZ grille looks like a reproduction. I bought one on ebay years ago thinking it would be plastic with the stainless border trim for my ute and it's still in the box. It has chromed plastic borders, looks OK from a distance, but is obvious up close.

As Innuendo says... paint the grey HX grille and you are in business.
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!

Painting it is. Both of them are (or were at the time I bought them) new grilles from Holden. The HZ box, in the photo, still has the dealership sticker and GMH parts sticker on it. It has stainless trim. I was a little confused about it being black plastic but painted grey.
    We'll get there shortly.
